Tijana is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families on their journeys toward healing and transformation. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Toronto and has devoted her career to helping others cultivate emotional balance, self-awareness, and authentic connection.
Alongside her extensive clinical training, Tijana has walked a devoted spiritual path of awakening — one that has deepened her understanding of the human heart and the nature of inner peace. This lifelong journey has informed her approach to therapy, integrating mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and spiritual awareness into each session.
As a 500‑hour Certified Yoga Teacher, Tijana has practiced and taught yoga and meditation for many years, blending these disciplines with her psychotherapy work to support healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Her approach is both professional and deeply human — guided by compassion, curiosity, and presence.
Tijana is inspired by her faith, love for God, personal growth, authentic relationships, and the sacred art of parenting, all of which continue to shape her evolution as both a person, parent and therapist.
She feels deeply honoured to accompany others on their path of healing, wholeness, and spiritual awakening — supporting each client in returning to their natural state of peace, clarity, and inner freedom.

I am a mindfulness-based therapist offering a compassionate, experiential, and trauma-informed approach to healing. My work is grounded in the understanding that meaningful change happens not just through insight, but through felt experience, safety in relationship, and reconnection with the body, nervous system, and inner wisdom.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and spiritually curious, yet find themselves struggling with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, or a sense of disconnection—from themselves, others, or life’s deeper meaning. You may have done “all the right things” and still feel stuck, guarded, or exhausted by old wounds that seem to resurface despite your best efforts.
Therapy with me is a collaborative and relational process. I draw from attachment theory, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care to help you gently explore the roots of your patterns while building the capacity to stay present with your inner experience. Rather than pushing for quick fixes, we move at a pace that honors your nervous system, cultivating safety, curiosity, and self-compassion along the way.
My approach is experiential, meaning we pay attention to what is happening here and now—in your body, emotions, and relational experience—rather than staying solely in intellectual analysis. By slowing down and tuning in, we create space for deeper healing, integration, and lasting change. Mindfulness and somatic awareness are woven throughout our work to support emotional regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of inner steadiness.
I view symptoms not as pathologies, but as intelligent adaptations shaped by your history and relationships. Together, we work to understand these patterns with kindness, helping you develop new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more authentic, secure, and aligned with your values.
